Women should have the right to choose whether they have an are not. It is there own personal business what they do with there body. You are right about the botched abortions it would be a terrible thing to lose the fetus and the mom. The Supreme Court did get it right when they broke it into trimesters. It should be dependent on the situation of the mom.
I would have to listen to the quote before I believe the President Obama would say something like that. He is very articulate in the way that he presents himself. That would be an utter failure for him to sound like that last guy we had in the oval office. The health care issue is one that still has wondering what it really all means. I agree with the women that can not afford it should be able to get tax breaks or just paid for. The women that could not afford it could use other means as well. So overall I agree with your article.
I think this will always be controversial but is a non issue at this point. I just can not see the ruling of Roe v. Wade being overturned. Things are a lot different in this day and age.

911 Detainess: Should they be put on the biggest stage in America?

Should the detainees from the 911 attacks be tried in New York, just a few blocks from the Twin Towers? I think this is horrible thing to do. First of all, too remind New Yorkers everyday of the things that went on that grim day, is a travesty. Too think there is going to be reporters from all over the world broadcasting the trials. The media coverage will be everywhere New Yorker's look, and we look across America. To put these animals on the biggest stage in America is unbelievable. They do not deserve this stage or any for that matter. If they were going to be brought to trial, they should of set up a make shift court room in Guantanamo bay. Why anyone in their right mind would put them in the biggest media market in the United States and maybe the world.
I hate to say there are politics in involved, but there always is. I just do not know how this could help the White House in any way. I really do not know why anyone would think this is the right thing to do. If someone knows please let me know.
Then there is the question of them getting acquitted of all charges, because of the torture they went through in prison. Poor little terrorists were tortured in prison. First of all, they will never get off. Second of all, does anyone out there think they would make it back to their country alive? I wonder if they will make it through the trial.
This is what I think we should do with them. I know everyone deserves a trial under our law. I just think there should be times where this is not the case. They have admitted to doing the crime for one. Secondly, they are proud of what they have done. Thirdly, they think we should all be dead. Finally, I think the Government should have just made them disappear. They do not deserve all of this media attention. I should not be writing about this right now.

Govenment matters: If people would take time to understand

If people would only take time to understand. This article takes the side of the politicians. Politicians do not fight for the people of this country. This is not a new thing; it’s probably been going on since the beginning. I believe that the politicians would sell there own kids to get reelected or just ignore them. Take Dick Cheney for instance the Republican Party would not let his daughter on stage during the Presidential election, because she is gay. John Edwards another one of our great senators cheated on his dying wife.. I do believe politicians in the beginning think they could better this country. But Power breeds greed and more power. It is human nature to want more. Politicians are masters of there craft. There like used car sales persons. You want the Toyota and there selling you the Ferrari.
Take John McCain for instance. When he goes to place like Kansas all he talks about is God, gun control, and abortion. When the same John McCain goes to lets say Oregon. He has this new idea for a battery that will be safe for the environment. He talks about saving the planet, recycling, and lowering admissions. Then the next week he’s drilling off the coast of Alaska killing the animals and the planet. They are paid to tell you what you want to here and that’s that.
I do agree with having more political parties other than the Republican and Democratic Party. Having multiple parties would keep people honest. A person could follow the animal or environmental party. Maybe more would get done in congress. Just so we do not think I am a complete hater. Vice President Joe Biden although I know he is not perfect. He still stands for things that are great in our country. He never let the office get to him. His family lives a fairly normal life in Delaware. His kids are in the military and he fights hard for the troops.
Politicians are the elite in our country they do not send there kids to fight wars. They believe that there to good for that. They are the elite of our country they do not care about you or me. All they care about is getting elected.

Bring the troops home

“I will never rush to send the men and women of the arms forces into harm’s way.” This is a quote from President Barrack Obama’s speech on Tuesday, October 26, 2009. I hate to bash the person I voted for and still believe could change our world for the better. But the President is starting to sound like a President I used to know. President Obama claims this is former President George W. Bush’s war, but it is starting to look like the same failed policies. President Obama is in the process of sending 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan.
When will they understand that we cannot and will not change what is going on over there. Now, the people of Afghanistan are starting to build a hatred toward us. We have only made things worse over there. Daily we are making new enemies in the Middle East. All we are doing at this point is sending more of our brothers and sisters over there to die. Fourteen Americans died a couple of days ago in Iraq. Why are we over there at this point? Why are we sending more troops? Why is this war one we have to win? We are fighting a bunch of unsophisticated people from a third world country. I wish someone could tell me, and make me understand why this is so important. I think the Government should bring our troops back. We are failling in to do anything positive in Afghanistan and Iraq.

If we were to think for one minute that mass media does not effect us in anyway. First I would tell you that you are crazy, and then I would tell you to read this blog. This blog was written by Gabriel Winant and Tim Bella from www.salon.com. This is a salute to the propaganda king of the world Glen Beck. Single handedly Glen Beck has Turned President Obama into a Russian Nazi that wants to brainwash all of your children. These are some of the words that Glen Beck has instilled in the media and American people. There are several instances where what Glen Beck says one day, is national news the next. Take the word czar, we automatically think Russia. He used over and over again until it stuck. This word which Glen Beck made evil, made it all of the way to the House of Representatives. The word was used very darkly by a Congressman. Next, Glen Beck goes after Cass Sustain, who is going to run the regulatory office in the White House. Mr. Sustain thinks that animals should have rights just like you and I. When Glen Beck gets a hold of it he wants to kill your elders and give animals rights. In regards to this comment another Senator puts a hold on his nomination slowing it down.
These are just a couple of examples from the article. Truly everyone should read this article on Glenn Beck' it will blow your mind. I can not stand this guy. I think he is a drain on the American people. He goes out and stills much needed oxygen we all need. The problem is the media and American people actually believe him people. It scares me that some crazy person on Fox News could have such an impact on a Presidency.

Why Dick Cheney Is More American Than Barack Obama

This is a Fox News article written by Kevin McCullough on the populatrity of President Barack Obama, compared to former Vice President Dick (Lord Vader) Cheney. The article takes notice of the current drop in the polls that President Obama has taken. According to the article President Obama has slipped in the polls by 11 – 14%. Vice President Cheney, on the other hand has seen an increase of 8 -10%. The article also puts the unemployment rate at around 14%. The article also claims that throughout President Bush’s presidency that national unemployment rate was around 4 – 5%. According to the article former Vice President Cheney is a modern day Robin Hood. Cheney works hard for the small business owner and truly sees how the economy can grow. This article also paints the picture of President Obama calling the small business owner rich and evil. This article throws out a few percentages on popularity polls and unemployment. I have no idea where the polls are coming from. Did the author of this article just make this entire story up or is there truth here. I believe that as far as the polls go the author of this article is talking about two different polls. There is no validity to what the author is saying. The 4 – 5% unemployment rate was probably true during the first year of President Bush’s presidency. Remember before him was President Clinton who left this country in good shape. It takes a little longer than a year to destroy a country. The author also contridicts himself in the article saying that the unemployment rate is 14%. He later says it is around 9%. This article is full of conservative propaganda. Mr. McCullough claims that when going to other countries President Obama calls The United States a Muslim country. The author seems to forget our great nation was founded on the fact that we are a country of many religions and many different people. That is what makes our country great. Mr. McCullogh says that President Obama does not appreciate our troops. The author also goes on to say that former Vice President Cheney appreciates what the troops are doing over there. He is one of the reasons our brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, moms and dads are over there fighting an unjust war. I’m not saying I completely disagree with the war, but it was handled very badly by the last administration. I dislike this article and its propaganda. Mr. McCullough is a right wing conservative that will do anything to put Republicans back in power. Is Cheney more American than President Obama? I don't think so. The article does a horrible job of trying to prove this.
